"Is this the NO SHAVING section?"
I was at the Coach House with Steph, her mom, and her brother, David a couple days ago, I think it was on Sunday. An old couple was getting ready to sit at a table near our table. They seemed like nice people, so I wasn't really concerned over volume or anything. What really made them stand out, however, was what the man asked the waiter: "Is this the non-shaving section? I asked for the non-shaving section."
Immediately, Steph and I both looked at each other and thought that this guy was funny. Well, I thought he was fun. Steph thought he was a comedian of some kind. What made him interesting, was not just his control of language and off-beat statements, but that he had an odd bump near the back of his neck. I guess you would call him a hunchback, but I wouldn't resort to that. I felt sorry for him, but he looked like he became accustomed to it, since the man appeared to be comfortable. He made interesting and humorous remarks throughout the dinner.
Sometimes, people are fun.

Memorial Daze - It's Spreading...
Alas, still no scanner. Then again, I have no excuse, because I haven't been out to look for one. Maybe on Wednesday after I get out of work, I will visit the Salvation Army near 10th St in Union City. If they don't have it there, I may browse their clothes. Wednesday is "FAMILY SALE DAY" or something.

This summer...
UPDATE: Just being realistic. Let's change it to three days a week. I can't always get here for some reason.
---
I'll hopefully post some data from my kind-of-hectic schedule soon enough, but I just wanted to announce that I will be uploading art every day. It's a challenge I put upon myself to put more work out. Who knows, the drawings may be good.
I just have to get a scanner.
Bah!

Quote of the pattern-that-is-not-consistent
"I should point out that something that's occurred to me several times in my carreer, I'm always amazed later on when I realize how little I had to lose. Which I think is a really good thing to tell younger people. that I had so many people, there's a lot of shout and fraught when you take on something big." When I was taking the Letterman post, you could just feel it, "Oh, that's pretty big shoes to fill." That's all I heard: "Pretty big shoes to fill. Pretty big shoes to fill." I remember, I did an interview with Katie Couric, she said, "Well, what if after this is over, what if it fails and you're just a Trivial Pursuit question?" and I thought, "Great! I'll be a Trivial Pursuit question!" Like, that's better than nothing. If you're willing to risk some humiliation and some pain, you can do amazing things in this world." -Conan O'Brien
